THE POSADA DEL INFANTE

Conceived as a small rural hotel with restaurant, This house was born from the dream of its promoters to host those who dream of staying in a charming establishment in an idyllic setting such as Puebla de los Infantes, population located between two reservoirs, José Torán and Retortillo. Likewise, its strategic situation as it is to be nailed to 80 km from Seville, 65 from Córdoba or at the gates of the Sierra Norte de Sevilla and Sierra de Hornachuelos natural parks.

It is a 19th century manor house that wants to honor the Infante Don Enrique with his name, nephew of King Alfonso X the Wise and from whom he received the lands that surround our population.

Another historical figure with properties in our town was Don Alonso de Santa Cruz, Cosmographer of Emperor Charles V, He is also honored by introducing details of his 16th century cartographic works into the house..

The facade of the house shows the stately face of its time. Behind the symmetry of the barred windows, the balconies and the portholes that look out onto the street, hides a small intimate and peaceful world that will make your guests feel oblivious to the busy world in which we live.
